DASH neighborhoods reflect a unique socio-economic diversity with residents including highly-paid professionals, blue collar workers and low-income families. Residents work together and with DASH to re-energize their neighborhoods. To foster commitment to their communities, DASH requires that Neighborhood Watch and community associations be formed with residents in leadership roles. Residents take responsibility for DASH-initiated activities such as monthly curb markets and neighborhood cleanups, demonstrating their willingness to work to strengthen their communities.
